WHY – WE LOVE BOURBON
At the end of March, 2023 we left for a 5 1/2 week RV trip. Our main destination was Kentucky and Tennessee to do some bourbon and whiskey tasting.
FIRST – Let’s talk about the drive to the distillery. We drove from the RV park in Frankfort KY through the most beautiful horse country. The fences were painted black instead of the usual white you see. The driveways, houses, green grass .. all of it was beautiful!
Upon arrival you see a nice building with horse sculptures out front. It was definately different from our first tour the day before at Buffalo Trace. Everything about Woodford Reserve is a bit more classy.

The tastings are always a fun experience. The prize at the end is the Bourbon Ball candy.
The gift store was classy too. Unlike Buffalo Trace with lots of little sourvenir-type products, Woodford Reserve was more upscale.
