ABOUT ME

In 2012 I was camping at San Elijo State Park, one of our favorite campgrounds. I had a dream. Not kidding. I woke up and started writing down all of the ideas my dream brought me. “Create a website all about camping”.

Let’s back up a bit. In 2009 I started blogging. My blog was called “Stories From My Day”. I blogged about all kinds of things that happened during my day. I also blogged about our camping trips. I started taking pictures of campsites so campers could see what the campground and sites looked like. San Elijo became one of my most visited pages. I knew people liked seeing photos of the campground. And .. then I had my dream and my new site was born.

The cross stitch part. I’ve been cross stitching since my early 20’s… so I’ve been at it for about 45 years. Wow, I don’t feel that old. I started designing camping themed patterns and selling them on Etsy. Currently I have over 50 designs.
