South Carlsbad State Beach Campground is about 45 minutes north of San Diego in Southern California. It is a very popular campground as the campsites are on a bluff right at the waters edge. They have some hook-up sites near the entrance. If you are looking for beachfront camping and can’t get into San Elijo, this is our second choice for the area.
