PECHANGA RV RESORT

We had been to the Pechanga Casino once to see a show, but had never stayed at the RV Park. As lovers of BBQ and seeing that Pechanga was going to have their first ever BBQ Championship, we decided to camp out at Pechanga! My daughter said we were “Glamping” … Glamour Camping .. ha ha ha … You were definitely not camping on dirt!

It was really nice! But … you can’t have a campfire and no cooking over a weber grill with charcoal. You can only have gas. We have a gas stove, so thought up some dinners we could grill up on our grill pan or cook in the RV. No biggie..

We booked a Premium site which means we had a picnic table and a little lattice fence separating us from the next site. Since we chose to be up front and right next to the pool and check-in, no lattice fence was required. We stayed in C-2 (see map below).

We wanted to be close to the pool and we were. But … we also got to listen to the RV’s coming in to register and leaving their engines running. Also, the people talking in the pool area at night can be a bit loud.

My choice for next time will be on the B aisle.  Two reasons, one a bit quieter and two, a bit more shade as the RV next to us will help provide that.

At the time of our camping trip to Pechanga, the WiFi was free, Cable was available – bring your own cable cord, you needed to put a $10 deposit down for the bathroom and pool key cards (correct change is convenient).  There is a golf course right behind the Casino and Temecula is a great small town known for the Temecula Valley Wine Country, Old Town Temcula, Temecula Valley and more.  Wine Tasting, Shopping, Golf, The Casino, lots to do in this area.
